F*CK Y*U money

Written on May 15, 2008 – 4:19 pm | by Roman |

You are fed up with your work. Your boss is an asshole. Every day that you go to work is the worse day of your life.

You decide to give your employer the finger and quit without a notice. You simply get up and walk away from your cubicle and 5 minutes later you are free - no obligations, no nerve-wracking job, and

No weekly paycheck!

If you were to quit your job right now, how much money would you have left? Would it be enough to continue living your lifestyle for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months or more? Is it enough to comfortably find a new and a better job?

F*CK Y*U money is typically measured in months or years - how long can you live using your reserves without changing your lifestyle?

I can probably live 2 or 3 months without problems, after that it’s panic time :)
Got to save more money!

That’s great to hear Martin! If we could always be doing what we love doing we wouldn’t need money at all! Just a thought…

Umm, I think I would be ok for about two weeks (when I would be expecting the next paycheck) then I would be fucked. Wait, that paycheck is already spent, and so is the next one, and the next one….crap, I need to find another job.
