In march I made a little over $100 – its not enough to make a living but I am still running this website as a hobby!
I’ve been away for quite some time and the website has suffered because of me not answering peoples comments and not writing new articles but hopefully I’ll get it going again!

It’s very nice to read your comments Boris! They motivate me!

Not having enough courage is simply another way of saying that I had some options to make another 40 dollars with this website in February but that I simply didn’t do it cause I said to myself that it would take up too much of my time. I intend to do it in March.
The offer was nothing too crazy – a financial company wants to send me a press release with various financial data once per week and then I can write any article based on their data as I want – as long as I link back to them. For me it is actually a good deal cause I can build my traffic by writing articles and at the same time get paid a little.

Something interesting happened in yahoo.com today – an article about the happiest states in the US was Buzzed to their front page and that has gotten people searching for “happiest countries in the world” – a term I rank 3rd in Yahoo – so it has brought me around 4000 visitors today and made about 15 dollars with Adsense (about as much as I made in February total). Too bad this traffic will fall off by tomorrow.

Looks like you are keeping very busy. I am looking forward to seeing the theme and if it the investment pays off.

I had the exactly the same issue with AdBrite. I hear good things about it, but it did not work for me. I took it off my site after a couple days. Maybe Adbrite does not have many finacial related advertisers.

What do you mean that you did not have courage to act on some offers? What types of things did they want you to do? Was it a moral issue? Did they want you to stand on the roadside in a clown costum? Was it to alter your blog in some drastic way?
