Have you heard the expression

“Money doesn’t smell”

Do you know where it comes from?

“Money does not smell” was first said by Roman Emperor Vespasian to his son Titus, when he ordered a new tax on public bathrooms (or toilets, as we say here in Europe).

What he probably meant was this:

“If you see an opportunity to make money – use it! 8)
