Here are the income stats for www.financialjesus.com in November 2009.
Google Adsense - $71.99
Direct Links – $10
TopEuro.biz – $12.04
CPALead.com – $3.71
Amazon.com – $1.93
Total Income – $99,67
What happened in November
I had great plans to increase my blogs income via affiliate deals but thanks to problems in other areas of my life I did not have sufficient time to do so.
The total income for November 2009 was a bit up from October – $89 vs $99. Only 1 dollar short from the magical 100 dollar line!
The main income was again from Google Adsense – the income with my current ad placement and traffic seems to stabilize on around 70 dollars!
I also continued the use of the CPM ads from TopEuro.biz. The first time I used them was last month and they payed out the money I earned via Paypal immediately after the month ended, so they seem trustworthy. The ads are however only been shown to people from USA, so about 40% of people are not seeing them – good for you
During November I also checked out CPALead.com. It is a service that lets you lock access to a part of your website until your visitors fill out some kind of a fun survey – if they do this you will get paid. The method has great potential and the $3.71 that I made was actually done in only 1 day.
During my test I actually split my most popular post down into 2 parts and restricted access to the second part of the article. A small number of people were interested enough to fill out the survey.
I discontinued the program because it made me feel very bad to keep people from reading my articles. I write them for you guys!
Amazon.com
Once in a while I write an article about a book that I have read. When I do this, I usually add a referral link to Amazon. Until a few days ago I was pretty sure that no one never buys anything from these links. I thought that if I get a sale I would also get an email from Amazon. A few days ago I accidentally logged in to Amazon and found out that I had 4 sales! Guess it is worth looking more into!
Traffic
Traffic was a little bit up but seems to be stabilizing. The traffic for November was 31 226 unique visitors – up 2.62%. The good news however is that the pageviews are up 21%, bounce rate fell from 78% to 62% and the average time spent on Financial Jesus is up 24%. This is all thanks to the fact that I made my site faster to load. This means that people who were impatient when the site loaded slowly and left are now sticking around. This is great!
My 1 year traffic goal is 100 000 unique visitors monthly and I am pretty sure that in order to get the traffic growing again I need to write a lot more articles than I am currently writing. I am considering finding additional writers! If you want to write and publish some articles here and get paid – let me know
Goal for December
I am at the process of finishing my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, so I don’t have a lot of time in addition to writing my thesis and studying for the subjects I still have to take exams. This means that my December goal is modest – an income of $120.

Keep working on the traffic and you will surely get pass that $100 mark.
Thanks Deneil! It is very nice to see you taking a look around my blog!
I am quite sure that I can reach 300-400 dollars per month without a lot of effort since I have great traffic – about 30 000 visits/month.
I just need the time to monetize everything!
You welcome. Yeah, im sure you can do it. It seems your adsense placements is working out fine. Work on getting more traffic and surely the income will grow.
Well done. You can improve your earning by trying ADSDAQ and Infolinks. Both of them bring quite some revenue to me.
Thanks Jayce! I will definitely check out ADSDAQ and Infolinks!

I’m planning to develop the site further! Add a forum and perhaps a store
